Canadian screen actress, best known for her role as Bo Dennis from Lost Girl. CBSs Blood & Treasure began her career in 2019. Other credits include Earthstorm from 2006 and The Perfect Neighbor, which she was a part of in 2005. Silk was born in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada, her father being Peter Silk who is an academic. His wife Ilkay is an actress also a director and producer as well as playwright. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. One of Annas earliest memories revolve around going to play rehearsals and watching her mom do her job. Silk made appearances in numerous commercials when she was a kid. She earned her Bachelor of Arts was conferred by St. Thomas University, in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas produced two early plays, Seven Menus & The Kitchen. In 2009, she got married to Seth Cooperman. Samuel and Levi are the sons of Seth Cooperman. She landed her first major role in the role of Bo Dennis, a succubus on the Canadian TV series Lost Girl in 2009. Her portrayal of Bo along with Lauren as same-sex lovers on Lost Girl was named one of the show's Favorite Television Couples by CNN and declared Top TV Couple of the year 2013 by E! Entertainment Television. Silk was able to attract a large internet following because of the acclaim of their show.
