Mercedes Schlapp measurements, bio, height, weight, shoe and bra size
Mercedes Schlapp has no easy work in the role of White House adviser for strategic communication. She must contend with the president, who acts as his own director of communications, multiple legal battles which could disrupt the White House's strategy for messaging and a number of Cabinet secretaries caught up in their own controversy. Schlapp was focused through the entire process, working closely alongside the White House's team of political and legislative affairs along with policy shops as well as wider communications operations to coordinate policies' implementation. In her current position she's focused on a variety of topics, including safety at schools and opioids. As a current employee the director is not communicating with reporters. Her name was a big draw after being named an option to succeed Hope Hicks, the communications director. Mercedes Schlapp's job as White House Strategic Communications Advisor isn't an easy task. She's faced with a president that acts as his own director of communications as well as numerous legal fights that could sabotage the strategy of communication for the administration and a number of Cabinet secretaries caught up in controversies of their own. But through it all Schlapp remains focused on the mission at hand, working closely with the White House's policy and legislative affairs departments and policy shops, as well in the communications department for policy-related rollouts. So far her main focus has included issues like trade, school safety and the opioid epidemic. The position she holds, however, means that Schlapp does not have contact with many reporters. The month of March was when she garnered some attention after her name was mentioned as a possible contender for the job of succeeding Hope Hicks in the role of communications director. The fight has been bitter. Schlapp was a ally of Tony Sayegh who was also an aspirant. They began sparring in media. Schlapp told The Washington Examiner that she spoke to Sayegh to discuss a recent negative article about him.
