Anita Barone

Barone appeared in the fourth-season Seinfeld Episode The Shoes as Gail Cunningham an executive chef, who was looking for Elaine Benes shoes. In the 1990s, she was a regular on the cast on Carol & Company with actress Carol Burnett. Barone was also her wife, Carol Willick Ross Geller in Friendsin the show's first episode. Jane Sibbett was her replacement when Barone quit Friends in pursuit of a new role which required additional time. She starred on The Jeff Foxworthy Show for the initial season (1995-1996) and in The War at Home between 2005 until 2007. Barone costarred as a co-star in Daddio (2000). Her television credits include Desperate Women Curb Your Enthusiasm Quantum Leap Empty Nest Chicago Hope Castle Do Not Disturb Ally McBeal Caroline and the City Party of Five The Larry Sanders Show. Barone's work on the film One Last Ride earned her the Best Supporting Actress Award at the Methodfest in 2005. Barone has a recurring part in Shake It Up on Disney Channel that began in the year following The War at Home had ended. In this role she portrays officer Georgia Jones who is the mother of CeCe Jones played by Bella Thorne. Matthew Glave played J.J. Jones who was the husband of Barone's character, for two seasons.
