The four siblings of Taylor-Joy are from her father's ex-married partners. Her family is initially of Buenos Aires, but moved to Victoria in the year she turned six years old. Taylor Joy says that moving was extremely stressful. She refused to learn English and believed she would be able to relocate back to Argentina. Hill House became her school that she chose after being required to switch schools. Later, she enrolled at Queen's Gate School in which she studied Ballet and participated in school-based plays. After she turned 16, she quit school in order to take on a full-time job in acting. Since her early years, Taylor-Joy had a dream to work as an actress. her goals were realized when she received a modeling contract at the hands of Sarah Doukas the founder of Storm Management.
